Osteria la Palazzina

The restaurant is located inside the park Parco dei Gessi e dei calanchi della Abbadessa and it is called with the name of the locality La Palazzina.

In the early '50s Alberto Casanova started the activity as a grocery store where you could eat something, but also where to buy salt, tobacco and hardware inside a typical stone house of the hills. Since the late '80s Claudia Generali takes over the kitchen activity, where she prepares every day home-cooked meals using organic flour and meat from her own production. The local specialty is the pasta dish "tortelli di ricotta": hand made pasta with a fresh cheese filling.

The restaurant is listed as a “Bottega Storica” (historical shop), that is to say among the historical premises of Provincia di Bologna, qualification awarded to the activities in life for over 50 years, as a precious witness of the past and of the local traditions
