The Tourist Information System aims to offer tourists and visitors an overview of all the opportunities, places to visit and events in Emilia Romagna, by guaranteeing correct and exhaustive information.

Common regulations and information models are decided at regional level, in accordance with local offices, in order to enhance the user navigation of the system, whereas the local editorial offices are responsible for evaluating the tourist opportunities offered by their specific area and for gathering and publishing all the relevant information on the website.

The editorial office of Appennino Bolognese, whose management was entrusted by the Emilia-Romagna to municipality of Sasso Marconi, is composed of these municipalities: Alto Reno Terme (Granaglione, Porretta Terme), Camugnano, Casalecchio di Reno, Castel D'Aiano, Castel Di Casio, Castiglione dei Pepoli, Gaggio Montano, Grizzana Morandi, Lizzano In Belvedere, Loiano, Marzabotto, Monghidoro, Monterenzio, Monte San Pietro, Monzuno, Ozzano dell'Emilia, Pianoro, San Benedetto Val di Sambro, San Lazzaro di SavenaSasso Marconi, Valsamoggia (Bazzano, Castello di Serravalle, Crespellano, Monteveglio e Savigno), Vergato e Zola Predosa.
