In 2000, re-establishing a centuries old tradition, the Morandi family restored the old vineyards and planted new Doc vine varieties on their hills, which are excellent for grape cultivation: situated on the hill slopes of Zola Predosa, the farm is immersed in the production area of the Colli Bolognesi Wines.
Their cellar offers customers the opportunity to overlook the vineyards, the beautiful landscape of Bologna and its neighbourhood. The winery covers 12 hectares.
The 12-hectare vineyard is planted with Barbera, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Malvasia, Merlot and Pignoletto, a native grape vine which is considered the King of the Colli Bolognesi (Bologna's Hills) wines.
The farm offers visitors the following services:
- wine purchase
- wine tasting
- guided tours to the vineyard and cellar
Visitors can book the above-listed services by previous appointment on telephone.
The farm is part of the Colli Bolognesi Wine Consortium, housed in the Abbey of Monteveglio (via Abbazia 30/c), in the Bologna province
