The Bologna Montana Bike Area, known as "BOM.BA," represents the area dedicated to mountain biking in the Bolognese Apennines.
This project, born in 2020 thanks to the efforts of some local enthusiasts, involves four municipalities in the Bologna Apennines: Loiano, Monzuno, Monghidoro and San Benedetto Val di Sambro.
This area offers mountain bikers the opportunity to ride during all four seasons thanks to the draining properties of the soil. Along the tracks and trails, cyclists can admire the natural beauty of the area, including natural caves, waterfalls and breathtaking views. Trails vary from Gravity Enduro to Mountain Trail, which are particularly technical, to easier sections that allow you to admire the landscape and colors of the Apennines.
Of particular interest are: All-in Trail, Riccio Trail, Benji Trail, Venere Trail, Zan Trail, and the All Star Trail (designed for both mtb beginners and hand bikes and tandems).
