Collection of antique surgical instruments

The collection of veterinary surgical instruments belongs to the faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Bologna University.

From prior to the 19^th century, it is of notable historical interest, particularly fascinating for the care and precision with which they were created.

There is also an interesting collection of horseshoes, evidence of the extraordinary ability of the local blacksmiths.
