The Lido of Casalecchio

Facing the Parco della Chiusa, nestled on the left bank of the Reno River, Lido di Casalecchio is a beach equipped like a real bathing establishment accessible from the center of the town with a scenic cycle path along the Chiusa and the river.

A favorite summer destination for the people of Casalecchio and Bologna since the early 20th century, the Lido was reopened to the public following a significant restoration work carried out in 1998 to rebuild the bathing establishment destroyed by the great flood of 1966.

From spring to autumn, thanks to its unique location and layout, many choose the Lido to sunbathe on the sun loungers in the spacious dedicated areas, on the grass, or on the sand, to the sound of music.

The Lido is also a destination for those who love outdoor sports or want to relax on the lawn or in the shade of the trees near the river.

In the large park of the Lido, there is also a kiosk with tables where you can enjoy various snacks throughout the day
