Monzuno
In the past, the parish of Montorio was quite important in the surrounding area; the church is dedicated to San Pietro and preserves fine sacred art works and objects.
The main square of Montorio is surrounded by some important historical buildings.
Nearby the village lies the imposing tower of Montorio, which is located on a hill overlooking the valleys of the rivers Setta and Sambro; the tower still preserves part of its original XII century features, although it was later modified and widened in the XVI century. The original battlement was of the kind typical of Guelph buildings, but in the XIX century it was enriched with Ghibelline decorations.
Near Montorio there is XIV century castle named 'Castello d'Elle' which was later modified; worthy of mention is also the XVIII century oratory dedicated to San Mamolo.
