The "Bologna - Modena: tasty weekend" are back for the second year, a series of initiatives that will lead you to discover the typical products that have made the two cities and the territories that surround them famous.
The program includes tastings and guided tours for six weekends between September and October (21-22 and 28-29 September, 5-6, 12-13, 19-20 and 26-27 October 2024) in various locations: from the hills between Bologna and Modena to the Northern Plain, up to the Imola area and the south-west area of the province of Modena.
It will be possible to visit vinegar factories where the prized balsamic vinegar of Modena is produced and stored, salami factories where the famous mortadella of Bologna is prepared, dairies and cellars. All experiences include a tasting of typical products, which will also be served during brunches and aperitifs.
The visits will be carried out in two languages, Italian and English.
The experiences can be purchased individually or according to a cumulative formula, which includes the addition of a return bus service from Bologna or Modena; the purchase can be made online by clicking here or physically at the info points in Bologna and Modena.
The experiences in the hills are concentrated on the weekends of 5-6 and 12-13 October, and will take place between Sasso Marconi, Valsamoggia, Castello di Serravalle and Monte San Pietro; for more details click here.
