Festa del maiale (pork festival)

On Sunday, March 9th 2025, the Festa del maiale (pork festival) returns to Monghidoro, now in its 19th edition.

As usual, the streets of the town will be animated by stalls (where it will be possible to buy meat and typical products) and especially by norcini, those who hand down the tradition of processing meat and sausages in the typical mountain way. Monghidorese businesses and restaurants will also participate, presenting themed menus dedicated to the event.

The Festa del maiale (pork festival) is really a unique opportunity to celebrate the tradition of meat processing, but of course also to taste and sample many delicious typical mountain products. For more information you can contact the Monghidoro Tourist Information Office (IAT).
