Festa del maiale (pork festival)

On Sunday, March 3rd, 2024, the Festa del maiale (pork festival) returns to Monghidoro, now in its 17th edition.

As usual, the streets of the town will be animated by stalls (where it will be possible to buy meat and typical products) and especially by norcini, those who hand down the tradition of processing meat and sausages in the typical mountain way. Monghidorese businesses and restaurants will also participate, presenting themed menus dedicated to the event.

New for 2024 will be aperitifs, offered in the town's bars as early as the afternoon of Saturday, March 2.

The Festa del maiale (pork festival) is really a unique opportunity to celebrate the tradition of meat processing, but of course also to taste and sample many delicious typical mountain products. For more information you can contact the Monghidoro Tourist Information Office (IAT).
