Tartòfla

Tartòfla is the international festival of white truffle held every year in Savigno, in the Valsamoggia area. The event will be held on: Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 October, Friday 1, Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 November, Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 November, Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 November.

Truffle is one of the many typical products that are produced or gathered in Valsamoggia, the hilly area between Bologna and Modena. Truffle is certainly one of the most famous and sought-after, for its truly unique aroma and taste.

The event is born precisely to celebrate this precious forest product, with a series of events that last for 4 weekends between late October and November: conferences, exhibitions, guided truffle hunting walks and of course tastings, gastronomic stands, and themed menus in the town's restaurants.
