The Monte Sole Interpretation Center provides an in-depth look at the history of the territory of
Marzabotto and Monte Sole, with particular reference to the massacres and the Second World War. Three rooms
dedicated respectively to the history of the area, the Monte Sole massacre and the Stella partisan brigade
Rossa offer the visitor information panels, audio-video material and a multimedia table.
The space was created by the Municipality of Marzabotto with the support of the Regional Committee for
Honors to the Fallen of Marzabotto and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers - General Secretariat -
Mission structure for Anniversaries of national interest - 70th Anniversary of the Resistance and of
War of Liberation. We also thank the collaboration of the associations and institutions linked to the
memory of Monte Sole: ANPI Marzabotto, Eastern Emilia Parks Authority, Monte Sole School of Peace,
Association of family victims of the Nazi-fascist massacres of Grizzana, Marzabotto and Monzuno, Municipality of
Monzuno, Municipality of Grizzana Morandi.
The Monte Sole Interpretation Center is located inside the House of Culture and Memory, via
