Recently restored, Villa Edvige Garagnani today houses the Tourist Office in charge for Zola Predosa and Casalecchio di Reno in the Pianura Bolognese area.
Built in the second half of the 18th century, the villa is a beautiful example of a bourgeois holiday residence.
There are beautiful woodland frescoes attributed to Antonio Basoli (1774-1843). Worthy to be mentioned also the decorations in the eastern loggia, where the use of trompe l'oeil frescoes turns the walls into illusory landscapes.
The villa also hosts meetings as well as cultural, gastronomic and musical events, including the "Zola Jazz & Wine", an event which combines the sounds of jazz with the aroma of the best local wines.
