The Monte Pizzo, standing at approximately 1200 meters, rises above the villages of Lizzano in Belvedere and Vidiciatico.
On foot, you can easily reach the location called "Budiara," from where you can embark on easy hiking and cycling loops (suitable for everyone) that lead to the summit of the mountain. There is also an archery range managed by the "4 gatti" society at the top. For those seeking more exciting activities, there are freeride and enduro descents offered by Corno alle Scale Bike and paragliding launches organized by the "Vivere il Monte Pizzo" association.
The "Chiesetta degli Alpini" (Alpine Chapel) is quite picturesque, visible only externally as it is located on the summit of the mountain. Dedicated to Saint Giovanni Gualberto, the patron saint of foresters, it was built in 1951 in an "alpine" style, entirely made of stone, with a panoramic position overlooking the underlying Silla valley.
Starting from "Budiara," you can also reach Monte Grande (offering one of the most interesting panoramas in the area) and the "Bocca delle Tese," a crossroads of various trails often frequented by wildlife, whose traces are frequently observed.
