Lizzano in Belvedere

Lizzano in Belvedere is the ideal place for those who want to unplug from everyday life. Nearby is the Corno alle Scale Regional Park, suitable for hiking and mountain biking adventures in any season. Lizzano is strongly marked by its history and is home to some unmissable historical jewels. In particular, the "Delùbro" or the "Rotunda," a small temple of pre-Romanesque origin with oriental architectural influences. This small temple is the oldest intact monument in the province of Bologna, and its architecture is a reminder of a fascinating past.

In the surrounding area, it is possible to find several shrines, two of which were erected to commemorate apparitions of the Madonna: the Sanctuary of Madonna dell'Acero and the Sanctuary of Madonna del Faggio, significant places that attest the deep spirituality and historical devotion of this region.
