Monghidoro
Near the small village of Piamaggio (Monghidoro) stands the Mazzone Mill, an old mill built before 1785 and still functioning, although in a reduced mode compared to the past; since today the building also houses a lodging facility.
Guided tours are available by reservation, which allow visitors to enter the "old part" of the mill, i.e. the dwelling, the millstone room (there are four millstones in total, one of which is functioning), the catinaia and the museum.
Also visible externally is the bottaccio, i.e. the tank that collects the water necessary for the functioning of the millstone, and the channel that conveys the liquid to the millstone itself.
