The Museum of Peasant Civilization of the Bolognese Apennines

The Museum of Peasant Civilization of the Bolognese Apennines is located in Piamaggio, a small hamlet not far from Monghidoro. 

Inside there are faithful reconstructions of domestic environments of the mountain peasant civilization of the last century: the furnishings and utensils that can be seen during the visit cover a period up to the 1960s. Also very interesting is the ⅓-scale reconstruction of a water mill, which can also be visited inside the museum. 

Completing the exhibition is the "Piccolo Museo dell'Emigrante", which tells the story of Italian emigration from 1857 to the present through information panels, documents, objects, and videos.
