The locality of Badolo is characterized by the succession of rocky walls that form a suggestive stretch of the Pliocene Counterfort crossing the territory. The village is also a stop along the "Via degli Dei".
On the spur of Ziano, at Bettadizzo, near Badolo, the underground aqueduct of Roman times was identified, which channels the waters of the Setta towards Bologna. A few kilometers from Badolo lies the ancient Pieve del Pino, of medieval origin, dedicated to Saint Ansano; it stands on a plateau surrounded by large cypress trees. Inside, interesting seventeenth-century canvases are preserved.
In Vizzano stands Villa Cadestellano, an elaborately constructed country building built in 1787, with a strong architectural impact due to its facade flanked by two turrets. Inside, there are stuccos, decorations, and paintings in the Louis XVI style, and in the chapel, a work dated 1787 by Francesco Giusti, depicting "The Calling of St. Matthew". Here you can also cross the homonymous bridge.
