The Tarots Museum, the first of its kind, both in Italy and abroad, contains the largest collection of Tarots in the world. We have contributors in the United States, India, New Zealand and Denmark. The museum is open for visits from April 1st to November 30th by appointment.
The originality of this museum is due to being the first center in Italy and abroad that looks at contemporary Tarot Art. The intention is to be able to offer visitors viewings of unique collections of whole packs of original Tarot cards, created by Italian and foreign artists using the most varied techniques, from collage to sculpture, from painting to graphics, from video to performing and music. Some of the most important names in international art are represented in this collection: Renato Guttuso, Franco Gentilini, Enrico Baj, Renato Meneghetti, Andrea Picini, Osvaldo Menegazzi, Arnell Ando, Jacob Kunstmann, Ute Ogelferr, Will Parfitt. The collection also boasts original works from artists from all over Europe, Malaysia, Thailandia, India, Uruguay, Stati Uniti, Africa. Guided tours are organised on the basis of different themes: from a historical analysis of the Tarots, to that of symbolism and iconographics, to workshops for adults and children to be able to create images of this magical world.
