The Ecomuseo camugnanese is a site with three locations strategically located in places of exceptional scenic interest, offering a comprehensive view of the relationship between man and his surroundings and enhancing the rich local environmental, artistic, human and historical heritage through the network of recovered buildings.
The Cati Mill, with the Molinatura Museum, the Locanda and an evocative educational garden full of ancient fruits, is dedicated to the cycle of wheat processing and transformation, offering a historical immersion in the production processes.
The Museum "della Terra e del Sole", located in an ancient watchtower with panoramic views, is the starting point for a tour of the area's sundials and local geology.
Palazzo Comelli, among the most significant architectural and cultural episodes in the Reno Valley, houses a large sundial and the rooms of the Comelli family's Historical Notarial Archives, exhibition spaces, lectures and courses on the area. The complex includes the Casa del Colono, stables and barns, as well as the small Oratory of Santa Maria in Porcole along the access road to the village.
Two locations of the Ecomuseo exhibit materials from the Mattei Museum: inside the Cati Mill there is a section devoted to studies on Electromeopathy, while in Palazzo Comelli another section offers insights into the life of Count Cesare Mattei, his son Mario Venturoli-Mattei and the Rocchetta Mattei.
