Cati Mill is a fascinating complex located in the village of Ponte di Verzuno, whose origins date back to the 17th century. This picturesque nucleus is home to the mill, an automated grain processing plant that operates on all processes, from the initial cleaning of the grains to the final sifting of the flour. With its three millstones, driven by an external hydraulic turbine, the mill was used until the time of its decommissioning for both grain milling and power generation.
Its area also houses the Locanda, created within the premises of the old miller's house and barn used for catering and tastings, exhibition of local products, and cooking workshops.
In addition, the Molinatura Museum offers an interesting perspective on the history and techniques used in the milling of wheat; the educational garden, on the other hand, provides not only a glimpse of the local flora but also an educational context for those who want to learn more about the surrounding nature.
The mill is host also the Mattei Museum.
